Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name or date of birth in a search widget, that information is sent to the outside provider that runs the tool. The provider processes the query and returns its own results. Parker County Warrant Records does not store or log those query terms on its own system.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor emails this site, the message is kept so a reply can be sent. It is not shared outside the site’s operating team unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may receive technical details about the visit, such as:
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is available
- Time and date of each page request
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookies may be stored in the browser to measure general use, including which pages receive visits and where sessions end. Analytics services aggregate traffic information for site operations. Browser controls can block cookies, although some site functions may work differently when they are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical information is used for routine site functions and measurement, including:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Passing a visitor’s search request to the selected partner
- Understanding which pages receive use
- Finding and correcting technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect general interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of warrants or private warrant subjects. It publishes general directions to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, District Clerk, County Clerk, JP courts, and city Municipal Courts. Nothing collected from site visitors is assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets are operated by outside companies. Information entered in a partner tool is handled under that provider’s privacy notice and retention practices, not this policy. The provider controls its own service and data sharing. Review its terms and privacy notice before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Pages may link to county or city offices, court systems, state programs, legal resources, and commercial search providers. Once a visitor follows an outside link, the destination’s privacy policy controls. Read its notice before sharing personal details.
Some advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites or select targeted advertisements. Those systems are outside this site’s direct control.
Who Might See Your Data
The site does not sell personal data. Depending on the service involved, information may be handled by:
- Search partners processing a query a visitor submits
- Analytics providers measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks placing ads on pages
- A government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard safeguards are used for information the site handles. Internet-connected systems can never be guaranteed free from every security incident, so no absolute promise can be made that a breach will not occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. A report that a minor has shared information can be reviewed and the data removed when appropriate.
Your Data Rights
Rights over information depend on the law that applies to the record and the organization holding it. The Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, provides a route to request many existing records from Texas government bodies, subject to exceptions. It does not turn this private site into a government records custodian or require a public office to create a new database.
For a record held by Parker County, a city, or a law-enforcement agency, direct the request to that custodian. Review Texas Government Code Chapter 552, its exception provisions, and the Attorney General’s Act overview, request guide, and model request form, alongside the agency’s own instructions. Applicable privacy laws may also allow a person to ask an organization for a copy, correction, deletion, or processing choice where those rights apply.
Updates to This Policy
This notice may be revised as the site or its services change. The newest version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Check this page again when privacy terms matter to a visit.
